On Oct 25th, Cindy and I went to see her cousin Skye Wallace play a gig at The Carleton in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She played a great set and although I don't normally listen to that type of music, I really enjoyed it. She was accompanied by Cindy's brother Mike Carroll on drums. Mike also plays with The Hupman Brothers who played the second set following Skye later that night. The whole gig was acoustic however at times, while Ryan was playing a solo, you would swear that it was electric. Here are the images of Skye, Mike, Ryan and Scott from the show as well as a couple of videos that I threw together. Click the images to enlarge...Enjoy!
I stopped in to Jazz to get some plane shots on this day. Dan was working Ops and we went on the roof to get a couple of images. It was a slow day...not many planes moving. For this one, I used a flash in one hand and the camera in the other. Off camera flash is pretty cool...I haven't experimented with it too much yet.
Wayne thought it was funny that I put my knife above and the others to the right. I responded with...I am not going to use my knife and I am right handed so the rest goes on the right. Logic precedes etiquette when it comes to my food! As you can see...Wayne's knife was above also...I guess my crazy ways are rubbing off on him. :)
...just what the world needs! Why cant they put this crap under the ground were "Salty Fog" can destroy them. I guess if they were under the ground, I wouldn't have gotten this cool back-lit shot :)
Cindy was out at Winners and happened to see this picture in a frame for 40 bucks. She thought to herself that it looked familiar and after a minute realized that it is a shot of a doorway about 15 feet away from where we got married. This is in Niagara Falls. It is the doorway that separates the front garden where our ceremony was and the back garden where we had pictures taken. How cool is that!
Ok....so I put a rubber skull guitar shaped thing on my house key...they are called "keytars". It makes a key very easy to fond when mixed with others on a ring. Check em
This was taken on my way to work one morning. This time of year gives great fog/steam on all of the lakes for about the first hour of sunlight each day.
